A trailer came loose injuring 2 people and spilling rolling storage racks on Monday afternoon in the southbound lanes of Interstate 25 in Douglas County.

The truck’s trailer broke and cause it to disconnect and spill rolling storage racks on Interstate 25.

According to Colorado State Patrol, the crash happened around 12:30 p.m, near Sky Rodge Medical Center and Cabela’s.

One person was stuck and firefighters worked to extricate them. The victim suffered serious injuries and was taken to the hospital. One other person suffered minor injuries.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the injured and their families.
