Last Tuesday afternoon, two suspects fled the scene after crashing their vehicle into a Wheat Ridge home.
According to the Wheat Ridge Police Department, a home in the 3900 block of Zephyr Drive had a car crash into its garage around 2:30 p.m., causing minor injury to the homeowner who was in the garage at the time of the crash. The homeowner was taken to the hospital for treatment.
After the collision, two passengers from the vehicle fled the scene on foot. The fire department worked to stabilize the structure after the crash, and police are continuing to investigate this incident, asking that anyone with any information call 303-237-2220.
