On Tuesday afternoon in Colorado Springs, a two vehicle accident injured two different drivers.
According to the Colorado State Patrol, the accident occurred near the intersection of Mohawk Road and Woodmen Road East around 2 p.m. on the afternoon on may 12th.
Apparently, an eastbound Chevrolet Tahoe driven by a 58-year-old woman, was making a left turn north off of East Woodmen Road, when the driver pulled out in front of a white truck headed west on Woodmen road. This caused the truck to hit the side of the Tahoe and start to spin, eventually going off the side of the road.
The driver of the Tahoe was taken to a local hospital and suffered life-threatening injuries, while the driver of the truck, a 34-year-old male, was also taken to the hospital, but with moderate injuries.
Police are still investigating this accident, and at the time of this writing, it is not believed that alcohol or speeding played a factor in this collision.
