Three people were injured, including a police officer, in a motor vehicle collision in Thornton, last Tuesday morning.
According to the Thornton Police Department, a suspect being pursued by the Brighton Police Department early on the morning of September 7th, crashed into a Thornton police vehicle traveling east on 104th Avenue, injuring one police officer and two civilian passengers, one male and one female.
All three people had to be taken to the hospital for treatment, as well as the male driver who caused the crash while evading the police.
The officer and the injured female civilian were released from the hospital the next afternoon, but the suspect is apparently still being treated.
The police are continuing to investigate.
