A Tuesday morning accident on Carpenter Road in Fort Collins resulted in one person being taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
According to the Fort Collins Police Department, the accident happened around 6 a.m. on the morning of May 12th, when a 1994 Subaru Legacy traveling west on Carpenter Road, struck the side of a Ford F350 traveling east. The Subaru then rebounded and spun around, striking a third automobile, an Audi A4 also traveling East.
The Subaru driver was taken to the Medical Center of the Rockies for treatment of serious injuries, but the injuries sustained by the other drivers did not appear to be life-threatening.
Carpenter Road was closed in both directions for about six hours while the Fort Collins Collision Reconstruction and Scene Handling team cleared the scene and investigated.
