A commercial vehicle crash on Interstate 70 last Wednesday afternoon, shut down westbound traffic for about three hours.
According to the Colorado State Patrol, the crash occurred around 3:30 p.m. on the afternoon of September 1st, on I-70 at Dotsero.
Details were limited at the time of this writing, but the authorities have confirmed that a commercial vehicle was involved, and there was apparently a spill of some kind on the roadway following the crash.
The westbound lanes of I-70 were closed for about three hours after the crash as emergency crews processed the scene.
