Tragically, 31-year-old Donald Fitchett crashed his motorcycle into a guardrail outside Fort Carson on the first day of the new year, according to Colorado State Patrol.
Fitchett was riding on a NORAD Road on the evening of January 1st, when he crashed his 2007 Harley-Davidson into a guardrail while attempting to navigate a left turn. Though he was wearing a motorcycle helmet at the time, Fitchett did die at the scene of the accident.
