A collision in Englewood last Thursday involving a vehicle crashing into a parked car, resulted in two people being sent to the hospital.
According to the Sheridan Police Department, on the afternoon of June 18th, a police officer was following the driver on Highway 285 due to an alleged traffic violation.
The driver initially pulled over on Galapago Street before taking off again at a high rate of speed, and then crashed into a parked vehicle and rolled over, close to the intersection with Kenyon Avenue.
After the crash, the driver ran away from the scene on foot, but was quickly apprehended by the police. Both the driver and a female passenger were taken to a local hospital for treatment of the injuries they sustained in the crash.
Galapago Street was closed to traffic in the area for almost two hour after the collision.
