A cyclist was killed in a collision with a motor vehicle in Boulder Thursday evening.
According to the Colorado State Patrol, the crash occurred on Lee Hill Road around 6:30 p.m., on the evening of July 15th.
Apparently, a 68-year-old Boulder male named George Laws crashed into a 39-year-old male bicyclist, also from Boulder.
Sadly, the bicyclist did not survive the collision. Laws remained on the scene and was not injured in the crash.
While police do not believe that alcohol was a factor in this crash, Laws was identified as being at fault, and may be charged with reckless driving resulting in death.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the family of the deceased.
