A fatal bicycle vs car collision in Wheat Ridge on Monday night, resulted in one fatality.
According to the Wheat Ridge Police Department, the collision occurred at the intersection of Kipling Street and 49th Avenue around 9 p.m. on the evening of October 12th.
Apparently, an adult male was pushing a bicycle through a crosswalk that had been closed due to construction, when they were struck by a vehicle.
The man passed away at the scene of the crash due to the injuries sustained. The driver involved remained on the scene and cooperated with the police.
The police urged drivers to use alternate routes after the accident, and as of the time of this writing, the name of the deceased has not yet been disclosed.
