A fatal head-on collision between a semi-trailer truck and a sedan on Highway 66 on Wednesday night, resulted in the tragic passing of a 16-year-old boy.
According to the Colorado State Patrol, the crash occurred in Longmont on Colorado 66 between Pace Street and Sundance Drive, around 7:30 p.m. on the evening of March 31st.
The 16-year-old was driving the sedan, and at this time it is unknown whether or not there were any other passengers. The teen was taken to the hospital, but was later pronounced deceased.
Highway 66 was shut down for multiple hours after the collision, and the police are still investigating this tragic crash.
