A fatal pedestrian vs motor vehicle accident on Interstate 25 in Thornton last Saturday, resulted in one fatality.
According to the Thornton Police Department, the male pedestrian was apparently intentionally walking on I-25 around 9:30 a.m. on the morning of February 13th, when they were struck by a vehicle.
The collision took place near the 84th Avenue exit, and it does not appear that the driver of the motor vehicle intentionally struck the pedestrian.
The area was closed to traffic for about an hour after the collision, and police are continuing to investigate this incident.
