A five-vehicle accident in Loveland on Tuesday afternoon, sent three people to the hospital, two of which with possibly life-threatening injuries.
According to the battalion chief of the Loveland Fire Rescue Authority, the accident took place around 4:30 p.m. on April 5th on N. Lincoln Avenue. When firefighters arrived at the scene of the accident, they discovered that a pickup truck had rolled onto its side and off the road, ejecting a single passenger, and trapping a second passenger inside the vehicle, whom it took ten minutes to extricate.
While the details are still unclear as of the time of this writing, authorities believe there were five vehicles total involved in this accident. The three injured people were taken to the Medical Center of the Rockies, while a fourth injured person was treated at the scene of the accident.
