A four-vehicle collision outside Lucerne last Thursday, resulted in the tragic passing of a 19-year-old male.
According to the Colorado State Patrol, the crash occurred around 1:15 p.m. on the afternoon of March 25th, on Colorado State Highway 392 near Weld County Road 29.
The 19-year-old, who was driving a pickup truck at the time, passed away at the scene of the crash. Two other people involved were injured, a 38-year-old male who was driving a Jeep, and a 23-year-old in an Acura, both of whom were taken to the hospital. A 40-year-old semi truck driver also involved, was uninjured.
The highway was closed to traffic for multiple hours after the crash, and the police are continuing to investigate this tragic collision.
