A head-on collision in Aurora last Sunday afternoon ended tragically with the passing of one female and with two other people suffering from minor injuries.
According to the Aurora Police Department, the accident occurred in southeast Aurora around 2 p.m. on May 24th at the intersection of Harvest Street and Quincy Avenue, when a woman driving a Nissan Titan drove into the oncoming traffic lane and collided with a Ford 150 truck.
Two passengers in the Ford suffered minor injuries but were able to exit their vehicle. The woman in the Nissan was unconscious when police arrived on the scene, and was taken to a local hospital where she was later pronounced deceased due to the injuries sustained in the collision.
The county coroner identified the woman as 46-year-old Arizona resident Cheri Fuber.
Police are still investigating this accident, but do not believe that intoxication or speeding are factors in the crash at this time. They are asking that anyone with any information call (303) 739-63030
