A high-speed rollover crash in Northglenn on Sunday, resulted in one fatality and serious injuries for another person.
According to the Northglenn Police Department, the crash occurred around 1:45 a.m. on the morning of April 25th, when a four-door sedan traveling east on 100th Place at a high rate of speed, went out of control at the intersection of Croke Drive.
The vehicle apparently struck a retaining wall, which briefly sent it airborne before it made contact with a telephone pole and then a parked vehicle.
The sedan then rolled over several times, ejecting the occupants from the vehicle, neither of whom were wearing a seatbelt. A 49-year-old male passed away at the scene of the crash, and a 42-year-old female was seriously injured and taken to the hospital for treatment.
Police are continuing to investigate this incident, and are looking at whether or not intoxication played a role. Anyone with any information is asked to contact Officer Dan Shube at email@example.com.
