The Englewood Police Department is searching for a pickup truck driver involved in a fatal hit-and-run accident with a bicyclist on Tuesday evening.
According to the Englewood police, the collision occurred sometime around 9:05 p.m. on the evening of June 23rd, when a driver in a full-size pickup truck crashed into a bicyclist at the intersection of West Radcliff Avenue and South Bannock Street.
Police say that the cyclist was riding in the intersection when the pickup crashed into them, and the collisions resulted in fatal injuries. The driver of the pickup did not remain on the scene.
Police are searching for the driver, and ask anyone who resides or runs a business in the neighborhood to review any available cameras for possible footage of the pickup truck. They are asking that anyone with any information call (720) 913-7867, tipsters may be eligible for a $2,000 reward.
