Police in Brighton are searching for the driver of a truck that was involved in a fatal motorcycle accident last Saturday.
According to the Brighton Police Department, the accident occurred around 2 p.m. on the afternoon of June 20th at the Bridge Street off-ramp of Highway 85 south.
Apparently, a cushion or pillow fell off the truck onto the ramp, forcing the driver of a red Honda motorcycle to crash. The motorcycle rider unfortunately did not survive the crash.
Police believe the driver of the truck may be unaware of their involvement in this accident since their vehicle did not actually make contact with the motorcycle.
The BPD is asking that anyone with information about this incident contact Detective Garcia by calling (303) 655-2382.
