A multi-vehicle car accident in Cortez on Tuesday, resulted in a hospital trip for a child.
According to the Cortez Police Department, the crash occurred on South Sligo Street around 1 p.m. on the afternoon of January 5th.
Apparently a Kia with an 11-year-old passenger, was crashed into by a Lincoln, which had smashed into the door to the back seat.

Police are still investigating this incident, and at this time it is not believed that intoxication or speed played a role in this crash.
