A semi-truck vs train collision in Ault last Thursday resulted in serious injuries for one person.
According to the Ault Police Department, the collision occurred around 7:20 a.m. on the morning of February 11th. Apparently, the semi was at a rail crossing close to State Highway 14 when it was struck by the train.
Highway 14 was closed to traffic for a period of time after the collision while emergency crews processed the scene.
The driver of the semi was taken to the hospital for treatment of serious injuries. Police are continuing to investigate this incident and ask that anyone with any information call 970-834-1136.
