A single vehicle accident in Grand Junction early on Tuesday morning is being investigated by the Colorado State Patrol.
According to the CSP, the accident occurred around 1 a.m. on the morning of June 23rd, when the driver of a pickup truck hit a curb at the intersection of 23 Road and South Broadway.
The impact caused the truck to flip and roll over several times, during which time the male driver was ejected from the vehicle. Tragically, he passed away at the scene.
This accident is still under investigation, but according to the Colorado State Patrol, speed definitely played a factor in this accident.
