A terrible two-vehicle collision on U.S. Highway 491, just south of Cortez, resulted in three deaths on Monday morning.
According to the Colorado State Patrol, the crash involved a 2005 Chrysler van and a 2014 Ford pickup truck. All three people involved died in the crash, including a 47-year-old woman and 68-year-old man from the van, and a 52-year-old man from the pickup.
The crash occurred around 7 a.m. on the morning of March 29th, just a mile north of the New Mexico state line.
The police are continuing to investigate this tragic crash.
