A 6-year-old child was seriously injured in a car accident at Havana and Martin Luther King, according to CBS Denver. The accident involved a Mustang and a van during the morning commute on Thursday; the child had to be rushed to the hospital. Police are investigating exactly how the accident occurred, and which driver was at fault, while doctors work to help the child recover from those injuries. The busy intersection near the Stapleton neighborhood was closed for roughly two hours during the investigation. There is no word on the child's status, or whether the at-fault driver was the driver of the car or the van.
